There is only one problem I have with this product and that is the packaging. Before the move I kept all my make-up in my small vanity in my room. This highlighter didn't leave my daily make-up bag in my vanity however within a few weeks the lid snapped off. Upon closer inspection the hinges of the lid had snapped the plastic.

You can apply it all over the skin with a big fluffy brush for a soft-focus glow. However, I like to concentrate it with a smaller brush and dust it over cheekbones and under the brow arch.

I applied it with a fan brush on my cheek, chin and brow bone and that gave my warm skin tone a subtle finish. I did not have any issue with blending or patchiness on my dry skin (which I have with most powder products), but the right amount is the key to make it work on all skin tones. Following on from my, I thought I’d tell you about one of my favourite highlighters. No, I’m not talking neon coloured pens and plenty of ‘i’m revising, not procrastinating honest!’. I’m talking shimmery pearlescent powders or creams which catch the light and bring a touch of radiance to the skin. I’ve used liquid highlighters before like Benefit Highbeam and YSL Touche Eclat but I prefer a powder like MAC Mineralize Skinfinish as I have combination/oily skin and a tendency to freak out over anything that will potentially block my skin. The MAC Mineralize Skinfinish retails at £22 though – which may be outside some budgets I know – so FEAR NOT.

It does need frequent touch ups later on. But I guess that’s ok as long as it gives me that evened out dewy finish. It never turned patchy on me. I have really enjoyed using this. I usually apply it using my real techniques fan brush. You can apply it the way you are comfortable.
