Using 'Send to Kindle for Google Chrome' extension, running Windows 7. Cannot send anything to my Kindle. The page just continually refreshes and never actually sends anything. Never had the issue before and it started just today (October 11). Via live chat with Amazon support: 'There are reported issues with this and our development team is working on a fix for it.The issue has been forwarded to our application Engineers. They are determining the root cause of the issue.

Then sometimes that would go too far. Then I’d get it right and halfway through the page it would start doing it again. Unfortunately, I forgot about that experience and, being busy with work, didn’t have time for Kindle until recently. When I ordered another book, this time on Python, it was the same wretched experience. I gave up on it a few times, then came back because I already paid for the book and was determined to get through it.

Melusine of Trenton great app, except for the crashing A while back, the Kindle app on my Macbook started crashing every time I tried to open it. I tried closing and restarting it, reinstalling it, then a full uninstall/re-download/reinstall, checked for viruses, power-cycled my Mac, etc. — that is, I did all the things that one does when this sort of problem comes up. It clearly was not the sort of problem that’s easily fixed. Of course, because it was caused not by a problem on my end but by a flaw that hasn’t been addressed. This was a predictable problem — it’s been well known for some time that the switch to 64-bit would affect certain types of software.
I first noticed this issue yesterday while on my Macbook Pro (macOS Sierra 10.12). An internet search uncovered this forum, where it was recommended that I contact Amazon Support, which I did. Despite the fact that the choices offered to narrow down one's ultimate issue are somewhat vague and general, the support tech did his best to try and find out more about the problem, which he verified and consoled me that it had, in fact, been elevated and would hopefully soon be remedied. I'm now on my Windows 7 desktop, where I recently attempted to send a small rtf file via Send To Kindle. I did not encounter the error message from yesterday, so I presumed the issue had been fixed. However, on enabling WiFi on my 7th gen Paperwhite the 'sent' file was nowhere to be found. While I admit that I'm a bit disappointed in this feature I've come to rely on, I was able to successfully send via email a similar rtf file as an attachment to my kindle address.

It is infuriating to try to learn something while your app can’t stay on the intended page and 2/3 of your learning time is getting annoyed and fighting the program just to keep the page. I love Kindle and Audible and I hate to give it a bad review but on Mac, this app is garbage.
