I just bought the new rome 2 total war for mac, it works fine on a mbp 13 retina i5 8gb ram, but it's still missing all the DLC that are offered in the windows version. For Windows users are free, i paid 54.99 euros, it's not cheap, at least add the DLC (we don't even have spartans.come on). Other than this, all looks good to me, no other problems to report.
